In January 2024, during a special event at the AI in Design and Process Science (AIDPS) workshop—held as part of the 57th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS)—Bernd Krämer and Murat Tanik were honored as Life Fellows of the Society for Design and Process Sciences (). On this occasion, Springer published Artificial Intelligence for Design and Process Science, a commemorative book featuring contributions from renowned scientists, engineers, and scholars, from both SDPS and the international research community.
